Homemade: St. Patrick's Day Avacado Face Mask
9:07 AMSince today is St.Patrick's Day, you're probably getting ready to party! And before you do that, you want to look your best, right? So here's an avacado face mask to help you with your dry skin.
Makes: 1 application
Prep Time: Less than 5 minutes
Shelf Life: Keep refrigerated
Ingredients:
- 1/2 an avacado, mashed
- 3-4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1-2 teaspoons lemon juice
How to make it:
- Slice and pit avacado.
- Sprinkle some lemon juice over the half you won't use. You can save it in the fridge for up to a day.
- Mash the half for the mask and add the mayonnaise. Stir both ingredients in a bowl until they make a smooth combination.
- Add the lemon juice and stir.
- If you have normal-oily skin you can add more lemon juice. About a teaspoon more.
- Spread evenly on a clean, damp face.
- Leave on for 10-15 minutes.
- Rinse well with warm water.
- Apply toner and moisturizer as usual.
xxoo,
Claire.

ReplyDeleteThe last time I tried an avocado mask, I was three years old... I am a little afraid it might make my now-sensitive skin worse...
ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm dying for guacamole right now. It can't be Cinquo de Mayo too soon...
