Simply Sydney
7:51 AMHey guys(:
Welcome to the first post of Simply Sydney... Or Stunning Sundaes.. The name is still undecided because you guys didn't leave my any comments suggestions down bellow in my post last week, shame on you.
But! On a lighter note, today's look is ah-mazing, if I do say so myself.
I like to say that I'm an expert at creating eye looks that are original, and eye-catching, but can be worn to school (but still look gorgeous for a night out on the town)
This look is one of my favorite.
I don't usually experiment with purples, or pinks for eyeshadow, because it can very easily become tacky, and 80's looking.

However, the good think about this look is that it's very versitile, so you can add accessories to dress it up, or down!
So let's get started!
Step One: Take a bright(ish) purply pink color, and apply a wash of it all over your eyelid. (I used Bare Mineral's but like I said, this look is very versitile, so whatever color you have accessible to you, then use it!)

Step Two): Take a light(ish) bronzy gold eyeshadow, and apply it in your crease using a windshield-wiper motion (This technique should make it so that the color is more concentrated where the pink, and bronze meet; then lightly fades as the color gets higher and closer to your eyebrows. Make sure that you don't apply the crease color too far up, this will make it a lot more dramatic

tell me what you think!
I need your guys' input, and feedback! So comment, comment, and comment!

looking, but because this is a school friendly look, let's keep it simple)

Step Three: If you are more daring, and want to go a l i t t l e more dramatic, then you can line your eyes with a thin line of black eyeliner. But what I prefer, is to just either thinly line my upper lashes, and wing it out at the end, or just wing it out without the rest of the eyeliner.
But, honestly, it depends on your tastes, and what occasion you're going to wear this to.
Step Four: Now, apply how ever much black mascara you want! I could n o t go a day without my mascara, so I put on as much as I can without it looking like spider legs (How gross!) A good 2-3 minutes per eye is how long it takes me! But it's totally worth it! If you're looking for a good and cheap drugstore mascara, definitely look into Covergirl's Last Blast. It's hyped, but if you know how to apply mascara to get dramatic, full looking lashes, then it gets the job done.
And voila! You're done!
This look works best with straight(darkish)colors, and classy jewelry.
I hope you guys try this look (or a variation of it) and
