Hey guys!  So I have some news! I didn't have to go through with the surgery.  I was going to tell you guys earlier, but I've been swamped this week.  I'm going to work on blogging more though.  I've missed it! 

So this week's DIY beauty recipe is a Lemon Honey Sugar hand scrub!  It's a very summery feeling to me.  Plus all the different components work wonders on every part of your hand.

Lemon Honey Sugar Hand Scrub:

Makes: 1 application
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Shelf Life: None, keep refrigerated

 Ingredients:

• 1 small egg yolk
• 1 teaspoon honey
• 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
• 1 tablespoon sugar OR brown sugar
• 2 drops lemon essential oil 

How to make it:

• Place egg yolk in small bowl and stir it to break it up.
• Add the honey and extra virgin olive oil.  Stir well to combine.
• Add the sugar, and stir well.
• Add the essential oil and stir.

How to use it:

• Massage well into clean and dry hands.
• Massage in between fingers, nail beds, and cuticles.
• Let sit for 5 minutes.
• Rinse well with warm water, pat hands dry.
• Follow up with a moisturizer (optional).
