Hey guys!  So sorry about not posting lately.  I've had a lot going on in my life, and it was too hard to update my blog.  Anyways, I'm introducing a new segment.  Normally I will do this on Mondays, but I was too excited to start to wait for next Monday.  This segment will be showing you my favorite songs of the week.  Or sometimes I'll put together certain playlists.  This week I'll just show you some of my favorite songs.

Sour Cherry by The Kills
I found this song when I was looking up songs in the pilot Gossip Girl episode.  It's one of those songs that I would love to dance to.  Not at a club, but just for fun.  I feel like I love to dance to any song, but this would be fun!

Hallelujah by Kate Voegele
This song has got me through so much.  It's taken me through bad break ups, losing friends, the loss of family members, and even when I lost my dog.  It's very melancholy, and it's perfect if you need to cry.  I was having a rough weekend and I decided to learn this on the guitar.  I've only taken 2 lessons, but I decided to figure out how to play this.  I tried looking up a youtube video, but that wasn't much help.  I looked up tabs after that.  I found the perfect one that was so easy to read.  I spent 8 hours teaching myself this song since Saturday night.  I'm still really bad at it, but who knows maybe I'll post me playing it when I get good.


Teenage Dream by Katy Perry Kaskade Club Remix
The original song is wonderful.  Although I wanted to find something that was a bit more dance-y.  This song is the perfect version of Teenage Dream.  It gets me pumped up and ready to dance.  Like I said before, I'll find any excuse to dance!

Summerboy by Lady Gaga
So Lady Gaga is my idol, musical favorite, and probably the most inspirational person in my life.  This is the perfect song to lay out on the beach and listen to.  Then afterwards go find a cute boy to be your summerboy.  This song definitely gives me the confidence to get myself out there.  What I especially like about this song is that this was one of her first songs.  It sounds so original, and she didn't have to dress up in a crazy (but gorgeous!) outfit to make me understand that.
